My name is Yvette and I am life long District resident with a passion for the care and nurturing of my community. As it stands, I am Medical Assistant with long term goals of earning an LCSW and substance abuse counselor certification. I have over 15 years of cumulative experience caring for children through family and neighborhood relationships. I believe in creative and educational means of interacting with children of all ages as well as an emphasis and use of positive reinforcement regarding behavioral and social training. I encourage children to think openly and explore creatively through play and social interaction as learned through my time spent at Gymboree Play and Music.
