Hi I'm Sam-Mayes Mathews!
I am a current graduate student at George Washinton University studying Anthropology. I worked as a camp counselor at a horseback riding camp throughout high school, have babysitting and child care experience both in the home and in a church nursery, and come from a very large family where I was often asked to look after younger children at family events. I have experience as a personal tutor, an LGBTQIA+ mentor for, and a craft instructor. I also have past training in first aid and crisis management as well as outdoor safety and survival.
Most often I have provided care for individuals (both children and adults) while a family member or guardian was in the house but otherwise occupied. However, I am comfortable providing care individually without a second resident or carer in the location.
