I have over 17 years as a personal care assistant. For 14 years I assisted a senior professional as his Personal Assistant. Working with his financial advisers, his lawyers; responsible for hiring and overseeing his household staff and caregivers. I had Power of Attorney on his bank account. Assisted in securing rental homes when he traveled. I saw to his medical needs. Made sure he was active and accompanied him on daily outings from golfing, to sightseeing trips and dining out.
For 3 years I was a companion to 2 senior ladies. Assisted with daily activities including shopping, doctor appointments, light housekeeping, preparation of light means, bill paying. correspondence and companionship.
