I worked part time on week-ends for an ALF for Alzheimers patients. I helped with activities and even took a few residents, with family permission to grandson baseball games and to the movies. Working in the medical field I have come across alot of family members that have a parent with alzheimer and just need a day off once in a while. I would babysit their loved one while they enjoyed a time out time. I have alot of patience and having worked around them for several years I no how to redirect and to interact with them on a social basis.
