Hello, my name is Rita.:) I am a very passionate caregiver/companion. I genuinely enjoy helping others. I am a licensed CNA. I have almost 10 years of experience in the medical field, as a Companion and CNA. Ive been working in Homecare/ Private Duty as a CNA these last 3 years. I currently work with Visiting Angels. Before that I had a little over two years working with my senior residents at The Village Retirement Community in Gainesville FL. As a fulltime Homecare Companion, I spent many wonderful hours assisting my residents in their daily activities, cooking, cleaning, running errands, transporting to and from medical appointments, medication reminders, light grooming, personal care etc As an employee for The Village, i attended all mandatory classes such as CPR/First Aid, Dementia and Aids training, Safety n Bio hazzard,etc. I also passed a level two background check and maintained current, valid car insurance for transportation sevices. I also have muliple, excellent references to provide at the interview.
