I'm a retired professional that came to the aid of a retired veteran that had no one else to turn to.
I moved to upstate NY from Cincinnati, OH. Quite a climate change!
Mr. T had a lot of medical issues and I would often find myself at the VA Hospital with him.
He was taking a multitude of prescriptions, had physical therapy, and doctors appnts weekly.
I cooked his meals, did his laundry, kept his home clean, ran errands with him, and paid his bills.
I have no technical training or certificates, but spent the last 3 years caring for Mr. T daily. He became family to me.
Prior to caring for him, I had my father living with me until his Alzheimer's completely took over and I could not care for him any more.
