My experience has been personal. I was my husbands grandfathers care giver for two years. He had COPD among other medical issues. I scheduled appts, cooked meals, drove him wherever needed to go: doctor appt, shopping, and outings. I was also my father's caregiver after he had a stroke and was paralyzed on his whole right side. I worked with all his therapist and doctors to teach and help him learn how to manage with his disability. Also, my daughter has Cystic Fibrosis so I understand even though it might be some small or simple task sometimes people just need help or simply just do not want to be by their self.
