I am a very caring and nurturing individual. I am extremely passionate about caring for people who are disabled.

When I was a little girl, my Mom suffered from a neurodegenerative disease, which caused her to became physically disabled over time. Ever since I was young I have cared for her, helping her with walking, feeding, cleaning her diapers. It was a very rough and traumatic time for me but it caused me to be very passionate about caring for people who cannot care for themselves.

My most recent job I was working 1 on 1 with a 25 year old girl with Down Syndrome for almost 5 years. She is physically disabled as well, and needed help walking and getting around in her wheelchair. I aided her in cooking and preparing meals. I helped drive her to her appointments and programs. I Helped her with exercise and movement practices. I assisted her in her daily activities including cleaning and help in the bathroom.
