I have worked in the home health field now for 20 + years. I am presently working full time for a Home Health Agency in Delray, it will be my 18th year this August. Although, I do billing and HR for the agency, I have been involved with the elderly for many years. Here I match up potential patients with a caregiver that I feel will be compatible and give the patient what they need. I myself have taken care of three elderly sisters living together in one home for 4 years, up to the final sisters death. I bathed, clothed, fed and even changed colostomy equipment for one of them. I am an extremely caring individual, which everyone that knows me knows to be true. I lost my parents at a young age and feel I missed out on taking care of them as they did I. I have three grown children, the last going off to college in June and would like to find evening and weekend work to keep me busy. Being in HR I have completed all caregiver inservices and CPR.
