My name is Janice and I'm 49yrs old. I'm a proud mother of two, my son is 24 years old and has a seizure disorder, my daughter is almost 21 and is in the US Navy and I also have a stepson 16 yrs old, who attends a private school. I started in childcare when my children were very young. I worked at a church for 15 years, as the nursery coordinator and also taught in the preschool for 8 years, I was the lead teacher for the toddler class ( children turn 2yts old in my class). When I took the calling to take care of an elderly lady who had a liver transplant and was diabetic. I helped her with her daily needs including housekeeping, meal prepping and errands. I worked with her for 3 years while she regained her independence. Now I'm back in childcare working at a large daycare, in the 2-3yrs old class, working with anywhere from 11-21 children daily. I'm good at keeping to a schedule and follow your rules. I'm looking for something less stressful and more meaningful. I am very creative and love to do art and crafts with children.
