I have 3 years experience caring for a paraplegic man in his home. I helped him get in and out of bed and the shower. I also assisted him with cleaning, cooking and whatever else he needed.
I also cared for an 85 year old woman with congestive heart failure and dementia. She was also blind.
I was a victim advocate in a domestic violence shelter for a year & a half where I assisted victims find shelter and resources. I helped them to safety plan.
I am a mother of 5 children between the ages of 1 and 19. Two of my children have special needs (Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder & ADHD). I also have a 1 year old grandson who lives with us. I have been happily married for 11 years.
