Juvane H. Care Companion in Miami, FL 33179

I started out as a volunteer in the hospital, and not just any volunteer, a special one. I was always ready to go and take care of people who needed, maybe they needed a friend that day, or maybe they just wanted company. My jobs task includes, but not limited to:
-Passing out Ice and water
-Changing and helping CNAs clean patients and beds
-Take Vital Signs (blood pressure, etc.)
-Helping hand for the patients who cannot feed themselves
-Making small snacks for the patients
-Sitting in the room (as companion) in patient room
-Reading newspapers, daily news, books, etc.
-Watching TV
-Calling family members for patient to speak with
-Recreational Activities (Walking, stretching, singing, praying (if affiliated to any religion), crouching)
And other non-medical assistance

My grandmother, whose a kidney cancer healer, was thankful of my help and support in and out of the hospital. I stayed with her for two weeks in the hospital and 6 months out. I was in a regular High School student with a 3.72 GPA, I took myself out of face to face instruction and took online classes at home to care for my grandmother. My duties include, but not limited to bathing, dressing, cooking, cleaning, errands, and outdoor activities. What I did for my grandmother I will do to anyone else who need care and companionship.

I prefer to work 12 hour shifts, as seen below, but I can work 8 hours or part-time as well.
