I started taking care of my mother she had vascular dementia it was a long journey ....she pass at home with me by her side.After she passed I thought it would be a honor to bring a family some care and companionship knowing the daily stress of having a loved one with any type of dementia.I just watched a client for a year and half that was completely bed ridden Her illness took it's course and her daughter and I was there for her last breath,not only do I feel privilege to have been there but I also helped the daughter with making the necessary phone calls and dressed her mom so she could have better memory of her mom leaving her home for the last time.
