I have several years experience as a caregiver going back as far as taking care of my elderly grandmother. We enjoyed each others company and I got her up and out doing things that kept her occupied and interested.

I have training as a nurse. I am a "young" 64 years of age. I started out as a companion and did home health care work too while going to school in 1994.

I would say I was drawn to caregiving at a young age, being caring and compasionate towards all people and especially older people that might need a helping hand.
