I understand the struggles of caring for disabled adults. I cared for my disabled mother who was extensively medically complicated while raising my children. I know the importance of quality of life for disabled individuals while balancing medical needs.
I worked at a children's home severely disabled children and provided respite care for children up to 18yrs of age. My task included meals, bathroom hygiene, mobility assistance, tracheotomy suctioning, colostomy care, and more. I have worked with individuals with Autism, Downs Syndrome, and other congenital/acquired disorders.
I also have worked with blind adults. diabetes and various other disabilities.
I will happily be your backup for you to recharge your caregiver batteries which is just as important as caring for you loved one.
