I have previous experience assisting mental health and detox patients with their daily operations. Which included assisting with completing their ADLs, transporting them to and from activities and appointments, and also administering medication to them. I also have experience working at a elementary school as a after care instructor, I was mainly placed with the autistic population of kids though sometimes I did fill in as a instructor for the general population kids as well. As a after school instructor, I did things such as homework help, generating activities for the students do, use of positive behavior supports to sometimes deescalate their behavior, and most of all maintain visibility of my students at all times to ensure they are safe and partaking in safe activities.
