Receive calls from providers or members regarding requested service/procedure, apply appropriate clinical criteria. Authorize and coordinate the requested service in accordance with the benefit plan. Worked in Aetna call center inbound & outbound calls. Contacting patients monthly to confirm delivery of specific PAH & Oncology drugs, also assessing & teaching patients regarding drug interactions &
adverse events.

The purpose of this position is to assist the carrier in coordination of worker’s compensation
patient home care needs once home health has been established until it is closed. Also follow
through on any portion of referral intake process and staffing case when needed. Facilitate
flow of evaluations, orders and progress notes to the case manager or adjuster. Provide
updates and ensure progress of patient, create purchase orders to authorize additional services
to provider. Maintain thorough, up to date documentation of services on each patient
participate in Nursing Department on call schedule per MSC protocol.
