I am very interested in the position for Care Companion. I love caring for and helping people. Providing professional but courteous service is an ability I can provide. It is my sincere belief that this job will give me immense job satisfaction, as I truly love caring for people. As far as my qualifications are concerned, I worked at an Assisted Living Facility for five years as Caregiver/Housekeeper. Recently, for the year of 2015, I worked as an In-home Caregiver for one year for a 94 year old man with Alzheimer's giving him excellent care. My client and I enjoyed working puzzles, playing games, reading, talking together and watching the beautiful birds and clouds from his backyard off the bay. In their home I also assisted his wife with household chores. His wife and my employer, their son, can attest to my trustworthiness, kindness, care and respectfulness. Sadly, my client passed away and my position was no longer needed. I have First Aid and Infant, child and adult CPR AED certifications.
