Karen’s Bio
My interest and love for the elderly is very rewarding and I genuinely love working with older adults. I take pride in renewing a senior's interest in living, helping them exercise cognitive functioning, reinforcing socially acceptable patterns of behavior and more importantly improving the overall quality of life for the people that I work with. Through my personal experience I understand all to well how difficult it can be to work through the medical system, to communicate effectively the needs of your loved one, every day and to be assured that they are receiving compassionate and appropriate care. I have witnessed the emotional roller coaster that families go through during a medical crisis and am passionate about seeing the people receive the best possible care.
I graduated from Florida State University and received a B.S. in Psychology
