My name is Delores, I've worked in the same developmental DIsabled group home for 9 years. The residents come from all different walks of life with ages ranging from 16 to 60. I have had the privilege to work with residents that are mentally challenged, to some that may be difficult but I find joy in helping those who face adversity. I feel everyone should be treated equally and with the same respect no matter age, gender, or background. I attend all weekly training and Inservices provided by my job that keeps me up to date with laws and regulations such HIPPA. I'm also certified in CPR.
