I am a responsible young woman, a mother of two girls, and a wife. I am looking for a position to help someone needing assistance in their home. I have past experience of working with an elderly woman. She is no longer with us, but I enjoyed getting to know her and helping her through her last year. My responsibilities at the time were basically to do everything for her. The following included but not limited to:
Cooking, cleaning, administering medications, logging activity each day, entertaining (playing cards, socializing, sewing, manicures, etc.), bathing, dressing, transporting, physically lifting, helping exercise, changing depends, etc.
I really enjoyed assisting this lady. She had many many physical and mental issues that made life hard on her, but we became friends and I hope that I made her last year on Earth better than it would have been if I hadn't met her.
I have taken CPR classes and in general have good knowledge about safety and health. Please let me know if I can further answer any questions that I may not have answered or included in this short description.
