I attended Ogeechee Technical College in 1998 and received a certificate in Patient Care Assisting. At that time I was working at Frances Meyers my husband became sick and I never went into the field I studied. However, from 1995 through 2008 I used my skills what I've learned to take care of my husband and son (who was having seizures frequently). Both husband and son was totally depended upon me for help. It was stressful somehow God gave me the strength to endure my problems and situation in my home. Therefore, if given the opportunity I will assit your mother with the skills I have learned. In all honesty I havent been around anyone with Dementia. I am willing to learned what I need in order to assist your mother with dedicated care.
