I initially became a caregiver because that was all I knew. I was raised by my grandparents and looked after them while I was living at home. When I was younger I babysat our next door neighbors' children. Later, I got a job as a dietary aide in a nursing home and felt so comfortable with all the residents when I wasn't even the one providing the care (just feeding them ha). Then I moved to go to school and got a job working with mentally and physically disabled adults and teenagers. I absolutely loved this job as well even though it was hard. I moved again and found a job working as a caregiver for the elderly. So I have really had experience with everything! I just love to work with people and have seen too many people not care for the people they were working for. I feel the need to make up for the bad ones I guess. I now work from home as an Apple Technical Advisor from 1:00 to 9:30pm Sunday thru Thursday. I would like to supplement my income with something I really like to do like babysitting or caregiving!
