I've been a Certified Nurses Assistant for approximately 10 years. I've worked for home health agencies, private duty sitting and is currently employed at a nursing facility for 8 years. I'm CPR and first aid certified. I also have a restorative aid certification and worked as an activities assistant for four years in the nursing facility that I'm currently employed with. I'd like to say and have been told by many that I have a "old spirit". I've live with my grandmother and have taken the responsibilities of providing her with care for the passed 15 years. I'm sure the facts play a huge role in my desire to care for the elder! I love working with the elder because they give me something to look forward to. I see where The elder are full of life where most won't and love to put a smile on their faces. I enjoy being able to help them with things they no longer can maintain and encouraging them to keep pushing when it seems hopeless to do! It's my heart and passion!
