Latanga T. was a caregiver for my family this summer. Our most beloved grandmother took ill at the beginning of the summer, we initially took care of her ourselves. We didn't think that anyone could provide the level of care, patience and love that she deserved. My grandmother had many granddaughters that came to Georgia to help and to be at her side. We realized, although she was well loved, we needed some help with the medical side of her at home care. I met with Latanga and asked her if she could help, she was there the following Monday. My grandmother told me immediately how wonderful she was, you would have to know my grandmother to know those words don't come easily from her. Every friend, family member, and clergy that came to see my grandmother commented on how attentive and patient Latanga was with her. This was a hard transition for me and the rest of the family, we are really grateful we crossed paths with Latanga and had her help us though.
