I have 30 plus years experience in the medical field. I have been working in medical offices and or hospital setting for long enough and feel I am ready for a change. My grandmother and sister in law have been encouraging me to get into home health for a very long time based on their own personal experiences and gratification. I enjoy spending time with older individuals, I love listening to stories of the past and family history. I am a GREAT listener, and love interacting with other people. I believe I would be well suited for the requests of this position. I am a very light "sleeper", so would be available for the entire shift. I have worked nights, and this position would not be out of the ordinary for me with regard to scheduling. I am not currently CPR certified, I have been in the past and can be again if required. I am trained in First Aid, and have a very level head with regard to any Medical Emergency. I have a strong understanding of prescription management, and the needs of older individuals. I was appointed as my Grandmother's Guardian upon her diagnosis of Alzheimer's, and managed all of her medical and personal needs until she entered the nursing home.
