Teresa’s Bio

I graduated from Medix College in October 2010. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant. I did my internship at Delmar Gardens working on the Assistant Living side. After this I went to private duty performing all kinds of Activities of Daily Living, including feeding, cooking, bathing, dressing patient, elimination, cleaning, and companionship. I took care of my ex-husband through his quad heart by pass and his battle with lung cancer and finally hospice. I also helped my neighbor tend to her Mother. I am presently however driving a school bus for Cobb County, my decision to leave private duty was a difficult one as I loved what I did but I needed the change. I am a single mom and now that my youngest is now 15, I have spare time on my hands and would love to get back into this field. I truly believe that one must have Heart to care for the elderly and I do.
