I am a special education teacher by trade, with a specialty in autism spectrum disorders. I have worked with all age groups, from preschool to adult, as well as varying degrees of disabilities and types. In general, I have a passion for children and child- like minds. I spent seven years at the Marcus Autism Center within the school program, first as the teacher of adult age students, then as a teacher in the preschool. Most recently, I needed to take a part time position in order to help an ailing parent, so I used my love animals and took on a job as a veterinary receptionist for the past 2 1/2 years.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia with additional course work towards a Master’s degree in Special Education.

I have been teacher for over 13 years in the field of special education. I would love a position that combines my passion for special needs children with part time opportunities, allowing me the availability to continue to assist with my aging parents.
