I have spent most of my adult life working serving others; this experience has afforded me the opportunity to see lives changed. I have worked as a hospitality professional, a youth worker, a counselor, a teacher, and as a customer service advisor. The thing that all these position have in common is serving others. I am presently employed as a paraprofessional with a local school system here in Georgia. Everyday I help Special needs students with Autism Spectrum Disorders with classroom assignments, personal hygiene (changing diapers, cleaning), giving medications, assist with meals, and I observe them ensuring that they are safe secure. I monitor their behavior and record data daily as required.
