Hey there! I'm Sydney and I have a huge heart and passion for the elderly. Above all, I think that is one of the most important things to have when taking care of someone's loved one, especially the elderly. It takes patience and a kind heart, and I know I have all of the above.
Unfortunately I do not have any paid experience with senior care giving, but through out high school up until now I have volunteered at many nursing homes. I am almost CNA certified, I've taken all the classes I've needed for that, just waiting until I'm able to take the certification test.
I have hands on experience through my clinicals while I was taking my CNA classes, my volunteer work through high school and college (I'm 20 now), and through helping my grandmother up until the day she passed away. We were very close and every day after school I would go and help my family take care of her.
