I have worked for a company right out of high school. I worked as a teacher's assistant, childcare worker and an adult care provider for 11 years straight. Working with the Larkin Center of Elgin I have gained a ton of skills. My skills range from assisting with daily housekeeping, preparing meals, shopping for groceries, hygiene, transporting, counseling, assisting with daily living skills and a wide range of tasks. I went on to care for a women for almost 3 years caring for her in her home. Caring for Deborah was rewarding I was with throughout her hip replacement surgery and both knee replacements surgeries. I assisted in her cleaning, hygiene, laundry, transporting to and from appointments, preparing meals, grocery shopping, med reminders, assist with bills helped with her pets and other tasks
