I have been a caregiver for the most part since I was the age of 13. First starting with a little girl, babysitting at that age. Then quickly moving on to taking care of my neighbor lady that i use to help with gardening and yard work. She had fallen and broken her kneecap so I became her caregiver in her home while she was recovering, at the same time going to middle school. I would spend nights with her, get up tend to her needs, get ready for school, come back and cook her dinner take care of her personal needs and go to bed, then start all over the next day. In the mean time also taking care of the little girl at the same time. I babysat for many different families until the age of 21, sometimes staying a week at a time so the parents could take a vacation or something on that order. I have been a caregiver for the most part of my adult life, taking care of grandparents, friends parents, in and out of nursing home facilities, and peoples homes. I have most recently held a job for 4 years on a continuous basis, with the same client in her home. I am a people person, and my heart is in giving care to others, that's just the type of person i am. Others peoples needs are very important to me. I am very dependable and can be counted on. I am honest and very loving.
