I was employed in a assisted living facility for 3 yrs as Head of housekeeping, where my responsibilities included the cleaning of entire facility and residents rooms and also their laundry. Member of the Safety Commitee and was part of the management staff. Trained in Alzhimers and Dementia and how to spot and report Elder abuse. My position was eliminated and I became a private caregiver and have been for the past 12 yrs. My most recent was with a sweetheart for 5 yrs whereas I took care of her every need, personal and spiritual. She was placed in a 24 hr skilled care facilty and recently since has passed away. I now am looking to care for someone again and am eager to do so. Women only please, men will do companion and meal prep care only. I am employed with a Medical Supply store part-time and available part-time early hours. 6 to 11 am. Will consider a full time. Will do bathing and dressing, light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep and be a great companion. Love to laugh and hear the stories of the lives my new friends have to tell.
