I have no formal training however I have raised four children, took care of my mother and am helping my aunt who is 90 years old. I know that listening is very important especially with the elderly. I also volunteered at an organization that helped sick children where I read books to them and just kept them comapny as well as watched over them to make sure nothing was wrong. I do enjoy helping others and making them feel important and happy, even if for a moment. In raising my children as with any parent, providing them with their needs is top priority but also understanding what their needs are when sometimes they cannot tell you. I am very compassionate and not afraid of hard work. I am strong enough to lift things and energetic enough to retrieve things or just go back and forth to meet the needs of the individual. My daughter just had a baby so I am basically her right hand in retrieving whatever she needs. I believe I captured my second wind through her.
