Judy’s Bio

Hi my name is Judy Osuna. I am  46  years young. and the wife of a Chicago Police officer. I have three grown Daughters, ages 20-29 and two gorgeous grandsons!!  I am a Registered Medical Assistant and Certified in CPR. Among those I have cared for, I have taken care of my elderly parents for years and also my brother who had a stroke at the age of five.  I took care of an elderly man who suffered from dementia for 10 years. I also had the honor and privilege of taking care of the most wonderful man in the world for over 2 years. He was 87 years young.  He just recently passed away.  We became the best of friends and family. He taught me what life and love is all about. I cherished my time with him. He suffered from Lewy Body Dementia.  I miss him dearly.
I AM VERY CARING AND LOVING, AND HAVE A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR. I WOULD LOVE TO CARE FOR Your Loved One.  I guarantee you will be very happy with me and will laugh alot. We all need laughter in our life.  I treat my patients as though they are not sick. I treat them with dignity and honor and with as much normalcy as possible. They deserve all of this.

Judy took exceptional care of my father the last 2 years of his life. Dad had Lewys Body Dementia and Judy’s medical background became invaluable as the disease progressed. She cared so passionately about my father that even when she was not working, she would call often to talk to him and check on him with the other caregiver. She also always kept me (Dad’s only daughter) well apprised on all relevant issues and always make my visits with Dad a priority. She gave Dad a very joyful life, taking him on outings whenever his health and weather permitted. Judy always put my Dad first. In the last 2 months of his life….she would not leave his side and literally lived in his condo full time with no request for additional pay. She just wanted to make his passing comfortable. She is patient, kind, loving, knowledgeable, of the highest integrity, respectful, conscientious, reliable, has a great sense of humor and an appropriate sense of fun. Judy is the best caregiver I can possibly imagine. You or your parent will not only get care and attention but they will find in Judy a caring friend. I am more than happy to elaborate on any of this via phone call if that is better for you.
