Mia’s Bio
My name is Mia Barker and I am currently a nursing student at Chamberlain College of Nursing, and I will be graduating in 2016 with my BSN RN. I also previously attended Loyola University Chicago where I was studying psychology with a focus on psychopathology. I absolutely love providing care to individuals, especially health related care. I am currently in my adult health clinical rotation and am completing my clinical hours at Methodist Hospital on the Bethany Assisted Living side, so I have much experience working with seniors. I am also both CPR and First Aid certified, and both are renewed each year. Other assistance I am able to provide are assessing vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature), changing, bathing, and medication administration. I am also able to provide light housekeeping, driving to appointments, and am more than willing to help with meal preparation and feeding!
