I provided volunteer Senior Care services for a family member from 12/02- 03/07 until family member expired. After being laid off, I decided to pursue a new Career in Healthcare. I have been providing paid Senior Care since October 2010. I am currently employed by the same client that I started with; I provide care for him 4-6 hours a week. Recently I provided Companion Services to a client who was in the nursing home, until she was transferred to another state. I have experience with Parkinson, Dementia , Brain Cancer, Stroke, Hearing Impaired and Clients with limited or no ADL'S. In Feb. 2012 I completed a CNA class.
My previous work background was Retail Management; one of my strongest assets is building professional relationships with others. I have decided to build on those skills and integrate them in providing Senior/ Disable care to individuals in their homes. I have acquired the necessary patience and understanding to provide a high level of service to you or your loved ones.
I am married with 2 children, my Son is finishing up his last year in College and my Daughter is in her 2nd year of College.
