Michele’s Bio
I cared for my grandmother in my home for four years, from when she was 90 to 94. She had Alzheimers. I was responsible for dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, administering medication, taking to doctor visits and outings, and companionship.
Later, I taught school for 9 years, then became principal for 16 years.
When my father was in in his 90s, he also had Alzheimers. He lived with my sister. Each Saturday afternoon I would spend with him. We would go through old pictures. I scanned them, put them into a PowerPoint, then would add what he would tell me about them. Each week we'd review the growing PowerPoint and add more. He enjoyed it and so did I.
I am CPR certified.
