I'm currently a junior in college, studying psychology and studio art. I'm at the point in my academic career where I am fulfilling the requirements for a graduate program in Art Therapy :). I deeply enjoy working on creative projects with others, with or without conversation, and with anyone of any age, background, illness, or disability. I also enjoy working with dogs!

In regards to people, I've been working with and caring for people all ages all of my life (while enjoying it). From when I was 12, babysitting my younger cousins and community members. I also spent time with my older family members and kept them company during their less mobile years. I've spent hours in conversation, doing arts & crafts, going to parks/museums, sharing/preparing meals, and soothing and changing little ones. I've also had experience as a Farm Manager at the University of Rochester where I worked with people of all ages, teaching them about sustainability, farming, nature, and healthy eating. Fulfilling different roles with people has truly given me a well rounded understanding of people with different ages, preferences, passions, disabilities, and capabilities.

I enjoy spending time with and caring for older people especially. It reminds me of taking care of my family members and sharing very sweet moments of understanding. I don't mind helping them with anything they need, whether they're pros at asking for what they want or not. Much like children, I find their personalities to be highly concentrated and raw- something I find very refreshing. It's awesome that someone can get paid for spending time with good company.

When it comes to animals, I love them. I have had experience in Rochester, NY working with foster dogs to get them adopted. The process includes assessing an animal, and working with him/her with training so that they are fit to be in a home. I have lots of training tips if you need them or need help putting them into action!
