I started babysitting for my boss' bestfriend, whom I worked for at a local youth center I volunteered at in the summer. My boss saw how attentive I was with the children at the center, and immediately recommended me to his friend, who was in need of a sitter for his two children. I babysat for him for approximately a year, before I had to resign, because the family decided to move.
Around that time, my mother (nearing her 50s), grew ill, so I became a caregiver to her; cooking, cleaning and running errands.
