I have cared for an elderly woman for the past two years until she had a massive stroke and passed away. I am a CNA . I prepared her meals helped her with her bath and dressed her assisted her walking managed medications took her to Dr appointments and did what ever necessary to give her a good quality of life. As her health needs changed so did my responsibilities. I also have a brother in law who is Ina nursing home who had a major stroke and my husband and I care for him daily He is paralyzed on the right side.
