Dawn’s Bio
I have critical care, hospital, home care and rehabilitation experience. I have always preferred the one on one care opportunities with clients. I am a mother of 3 and grandmother of 4. I have lived in this area for 20 years and my husband has worked in this community for 15. We are enjoying the empty nest as our children all chose to live close by so they visit often. I am an avid animal lover and have a couple dogs and 2 cats. We enjoy camping and spending time with the grandkids. I want to continue to be of service to others and enhance their quality of life. I laugh alot as I have found it is not alwys medicine that makes one feel better. I am a good listener and a want to do things as others would do them, not as I would. I think its important to keep a persons continuity in place as much as possible. I was the Cardiopulmonary Supervisor for 7 years at Carlinville hospital. I grew the department and its service offerings. I was an integral part of the emergency transport team and would work when called by staff at families request even when I wasnt on duty. I hope someone would do the same for me or my family member in a time of crisis. My practitioners license is still active and I have had multiple certifications for a varying levels of CPR.
