I am a tech in the emergency department part time. I care for patients as needed. Checking their blood pressures, blood sugars, one on one basis with patients with special needs. I change and insert catheters, dressings and bedding on a daily basis that I'm working.
I really enjoy my job. It is a different daily and I stay pretty busy. I love knowing that I can help change a persons life. I am also CPR certified and I have had to perform CPR several times in the ER.
I have graduated college with my Phlebotomy and was hoping to pursue my career in nursing as an RN but have not been able to.
