i worked as a Certified Paraprofessional for almost 3 years, I left my position because I didn't like the treatment that was given to the students. I worked with moderate to sever special needs high school students. I accompanied them to class, the store, and outings. After I left the school I continued to do things with my 2 main students, from being a friend to caring for them at home if a caregiver didn't show up, to going to DOC apts , the store, overnight concert trips, weekend hunting trips, and yes Elvis week.
