Being a caregiver has been part of my life since I was old enough to help. Growing up I helped my Parents care for my Grandparents. I sat with my Moms patients at the nursing home. I helped care for my Mom whom had a Heart Transplant. I cared for my Aunt's Mom and Dad till they both passed away peacefully at home.
I became a caregiver because it is what I have always known to do throughout my life. I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my Mother whom was a Nurse. I found that being able to care for someone and allow them to remain in their home where they want to be is more rewarding than working for a hospital or some big company.
You are able to experience so much about a person in their home. Their life history and all their stories. You form a bond that links you beyond recognition and a lifetime of memories to cherish.
My qualifications are more than just schooling it comes with a lifetime of experiences.
