I spent 15 years working in the housekeeping industry before transitioning to a personal care companion after I spent more than a year caring for an elder who was close to a family member and needed some assistance. I also took charge of my mothers care for several months before she past away in April 2007 and cared for my husband for seven months before he past in May of 2008.
I have had several patients since that time and found it to be where my heart is to be of help and service to others. My most resent patient I had the pleasure of working with was Ms Loretta, whom I worked two years with until July of 2013 when she was moved into Hospice care and later passed away.

I am a patient and compassionate experienced care giver. I worked in the housekeeping field for many years before making the move to caregiver and my experience in that occupation lends well to the field of care giving. Especially when it comes to those who want things done a certain way.

I am patient and kind. I Know when its time to slow down and take a few extra minutes to do things right when caring for a client or their home.

My first priority is always a clients care, comfort and needs. I work independently and I am thorough in completing required tasks although I am never willing to put any task over the care of the patient.

I have some experience in assisting with bathing, grooming dressing, and feeding I assist with medication reminders and I've kept patient logs on meals, medications, activities as well as any other required things.
I do light cooking, light to moderate housekeeping, laundry, pet care services, patient transportation to doctor visits, therapy / daily activities in patients car or my own. I do shopping for/with clients, and run errands if needed as well.
I am honest, trustworthy and dependable with excellent long standing references. I can provide a background check and can pass a drug screenings. I have a valid drivers license, up to date auto insurance and reliable transportation.
