I became a caregiver because I always wanted to be a nurse. I especially love geriatric caregiving, it is what I have always done in the 7 years that I have been a caregiver.
I have experience with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Dementia, Cancer and I love what I do. I also cook, clean, give baths, have administered medications, monitored diabetes, driven to appointments, to shop, etc.
I am 62 years old, in good health, single with 2 grown children. I am a non smoker and do not drink.
I am very flexible and can work any hours, day or night.
I have excellent references and a dependable car and good driving record.
I have 2 1/2 years of college and am always learning and eager to learn new things. I have CPR training, and have worked with Hospice in 4 of my positions.
