Samantha’s Bio
I became a CNA when I was a senior in high school at St. Mary when I was 18. I became a CNA because my aunt found out she had cancer when I was 17 and she needed assistance. We moved her into our home and took care of her until she passed away. I performed my clinicals at Superior Care Home. After high school, I accepted a job at Kindred Health Care in Mayfield where I worked for a year until my family found out my grandfather had kidney cancer. I left my job at the nursing home and began doing home health with my grandfather almost every day for 2 years until he passed away. I've realized that it's my calling to help people and take care of people in any way that I can! It's such a rewarding feeling knowing you made a difference in someone's life.
