I took care of a friend over 20 years ago, who had bad leg, and then had a broken hip. I sat with my grandfather when I was only around 22. He was dying of cancer. I stayed with him for three months, until he died. I took care of my mother,who I lost in 2011. My mother had arthritis, and had to have help with walking,bathing,meals, ect. I also take care of my significant other, who has a traumatic bran injury, with short-term memory loss, as well as a serious type 1 diabetic. I am a paralegal, and can't find work close to home. I don't hold a certificate in the nursing field,however, I do have true hands on training, with helping individuals, who are bed ridden,or who need assistance walking.
