I decided to become a certified nursing assistant/caregiver because I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. I have worked in healthcare for over 20 years both as a certified nursing assistant and hospice care provider. I am a person that enjoy seeing other people happy. It gives me a since of satisfaction knowing that I can make another person feel good about themselves. Meeting new people and providing caregiving services that they can no longer do for themselves makes the client feel like they have something to look forward to and makes me happy knowing that I made the client feel that way.
